    Linguistic survey for FFXIV/MMO players

I'm focusing on the how players of MMORPGs use language for a project of mine for a class. I would greatly appreciate it if you could fill it out and ask friends who play MMOs to also fill it out. Any contribution is helpful, especially from this community because my main focus is on FFXIV since I can add a personal touch to it.
    Survey here!

Thank you for reading this. If this isn't welcomed, I'd appreciate being pointed in a direction where I can get people to participate in my survey.

Done. Just curious, what kind of answers are you expecting for "What is BiS?" I feel like that one's got a pretty standard linguistic function.

I expected everyone to know what it is, I just wanted to see if there were any people that didn't know a common term like that.

Filled it out. I find this to be an interesting topic, especially since it's something i've noticed as well. Mainly how communities have developed their own slang and terminology for things or when they share some terms.

FFXI was my first MMO and the one I played longest. Almost 7 or 8 years. Afterwards I played many others. A few examples I can think of are from WoW, which I played during Mists.

In FFXI we tended to say "Hate" or enmity, while in WoW it was "Threat". In FFXI we always called jobs or characters that dealt damage "DD" for Damage Dealer. In WoW (and many others) it's DPS, which in actuality is Damage Per Second. I feel DD is more accurate.
