I think you confused coordinated croneyism and price fixing by established crafters, to prevent emerging crafters from succeeding in the marketplace as "getting good". Without your network of "colleagues" continually attempting to foil the genuine efforts of others, the emerging crafters would be just as good as you. You are intentionally making the playing ground uneven and in your favor, much like established corporations do to smaller marketplaces IRL. I.E. Walmart.

    To each their own, however.

lol that's so mean but understandable.. right before an expansion, so many people trying to get in the crafting game to grab a slice of the pie once expansion hits.. It's time to go on lock down.

I don't lose any money doing it, it is just a way for me to ensure that i stay on top and keep others down. We are a group of crafters that like our position of being on top and don't need randoms infringing on our profits just before the expansion that got everything after nerfs. Git gud or git lost.
    Now THAT is harassment.

Within the rules of the game, but yah. Shadowy cabals controlling the marketboard is about as dickish as it gets.

Err, Bombast doesn't think the OP is joking. That was a reaction to both values listed by the OP..

Anyway, undercutting has existed since the dawn of time, all you can do is undercut back. You only wanna go low enough to break even. If they go lower than this, do not continue counter-undercutting.

    .
In a fair market, a producer will look to make whatever he can get somebody to pay for his product. Sometimes nobody will pay enough to cover his costs, either because he is inefficient or just because nobody wants it. He is not guaranteed any kind of return at all; it's his business to set it up so that people will pay him for his product.

    Agreed.

Anyway if somebody have feeling that he is undercutted and the product is underpriced: just buy it from undercutter and sold it for more if you think that product is more valuable than actual price on AH. But I give you a hint. Most of products on AH is overpriced and most of them you can get for free a for very little fee if you bring mats to crafter and shout in MD.

On the buyer's end, it's actually a damn good thing when you can start buying things without a 400% markup.. You do end up making a few enemies from the crafter side of player base though.. Gotta do that with items that don't stamp your name on

Sometimes I will do that myself, if I think someone has a market board bot/ crafting bot. I will price my goods at exactly cost, and then let the market board bot start undercutting me, so that they end up losing money.

I have also sent them lower and lower, all the way to 50% of cost, and then completely bought them up, and then reprice at original. That way, they lost a fortune by botting.
