
Yep. They made it as much like the FF8 version as possible. But yes, I think it kind of sucks. Another good one is Odin. I still have to stare at it a while before I really know what card it is. lolTo be fair, this matches with how cards looked in the game in FFVIII. Monsters, bosses, and summons all were just pictures of the in-game models. The most powerful cards were of main characters from the game, and used their portrait artwork instead of 3D models.
Though I would like to see unique art for them, this style very much matches its roots.
