Can't Re-Watch Intermediate Cutscenes?

Just completed the Every Little Thing She Does Is Magitek quest. Went to talk to Cid to start the next main story quest. A cut scene starts where he asks how your preparations are going. Then Glaumunt, the guy who's been helping you, comes in to see you off. And then I go to close chat log window and it accidentally skips the whole scene. Couldn't find it in the book at the inn. It's one of those intermediate scenes that can't be re-watched apparently. I know it's not that important but it's still annoying to miss out on that piece of story and context.

This is the reason I wish we could abandon Main Scenario quests. If something gets screwed up like this or we miss something, it would be nice if we could start over and do it again.

Totally agree. Would also be nice if we could replay Main Scenario quests even after we've completed them. I'm still trying to get over what caused me to miss out on that particular cut scene. All I was trying to do is press the square button on my PS4 controller to close out the chat log window, but it triggered the skip cut scene option, and not realizing square is the same as pressing x to confirm, I accidentally skipped it. One measly button was enough to spoil the enjoyment. At least the infiltration quest that followed was fun. That took away some of the sting.

A lot of people are probably like, "Who cares what a minor character's reasons are for helping you fight the Empire? It's not that important of a scene." But I'm one of those guys who likes to know those little details. Heck, sometimes the minor characters are more interesting than the major ones. That NPC Sark Malark says it best: "In every and all things, I like my planning perfect and my execution precisely as predetermined. A stickler for detail—that is simply the way I am."

On a side note, I feel that I may have misplaced this topic in the wrong section. Is there a way to get a mod to move it elsewhere, like the General Discussion section?

It's possible you just were not done that quest sequence. You need to have completed the ENTIRE quest sequence in order to play back the scenes during this (I learned this because my brother ended up skipping the HUGE set of cutscenes in 2.55 and he had to continue on to the quest arc conclusion before he could rewatch those scenes he skipped.)

I've never skipped anything like that though and have not really used the book at the inn.

The book in the inn is so inconvenient to use, they put separately dungeon, raid & quest cutscene.
I accidentally skip few cut-scene and it take me some time to find it.

I did consider this, but unfortunately after having checked the book upon completing the whole quest sequence, I learned that the cut scene was indeed omitted. I checked under every section. It simply isn't there. And it's not the only one. It seems that any scene that doesn't take place during a duty or actual quest mission isn't included. This is what I refer to as the "intermediate cut scenes". The smaller scenes that take place in-between larger scenes and duties.

Took me a moment to figure out you were talking about the quest AFTER "Every Little Thing She Does is Magitek", which is called "Escape from Castrum Centri". Presuming this is the case, I found a video with the intermediary cutscene so mentioned. Now, while it isn't -your- character in the cutscene, it'll at least let you read the dialogue that you missed. Sorry I can't be of any more help. And yes, this truly does suck -- just recently I accidentally skipped an intermediate cutscene...too late, too bad, can't view it again.

EDIT: I should say, I am exactly the same way. I gobble up every little morsel of dialogue. I don't like to skip a thing. People can get impatient with me if I am doing the quests with a group, but I tell them "I'm still reading!". He he. And actually, rereading Glaumunt's explanation, I am reminded of how sad it is.
