Tournament Cheating on Balmung

I guarantee win trading is not what the devs expected players to do. There is alot of different types of cheating that has gone on in this game that they did not intend. Just like they probably did not intend for players to sell runs/loot but rather expected the best out of players to go and help others get through challenges. Yea right... what were they thinking? I'm not going to say more because I have already been temp banned for stating a obvious perception of a certain player group.

How can one out cheat the top cheater? You just can't lol you just can't and when something becomes 100% impossible to try for then thats when its BS.
You probably have a higher chance at clearing T13 in DF than trying to beat ur server's #1 TT cheater lol.
They got it down and they got the gil and alts.

It has no 'similar tournaments' because it's not a traditional tournament. It's a tournament without rules.
It's competitive but top rewards are not for a large number of people. They are for a few with the highest score.
However it's nowhere stated how you should earn that score.
Meaning you can earn that score by any means possible.
The tournament allows to buy wins and promotes wintrades because that's the only way to win. It's not forbidden.
So why are you bashing people who just want to win?
It's not their fault tournament is set up like this. Blame developers for how it was implemented.

it may not be officially "cheating", but anyone with any semblance of intellect would probably say buying wins is not what most of expected it would boil down to

Sorry, but as a dev you not only have to expect this, you have to know it. I never saw any game in all these years where no one exploited something, especially not in PvP. I mean, they are Square, not some little newly created studio.

Same player on Balmung is in first again this Tourny with 5161 points. 40/40 wins. Meaning they are netting 129.025 points per win. SE, it's very clear who your cheaters are in these tournaments. I ask you do something about this before they are the only ones playing them.

I hate to break it to you but if this is cheating your guy is doing it wrong. The top player on my server has 139+ average. Yes the tournament is faulty but you would be surprised how much is legitimate play.

Regardless of the "average", it doesn't excuse the fact that it was done. Call me skeptical, but the chances of winning 40/40 without 1 draw or 1 lose is extremely low.
