World of Darkness Griefing GM does nothing.

Here is my vent:

We had X person come in. Everyone in alliance contacted GM. Finally got one and he brushes us off with Vote Kick as an option and leaves. So yeah, we had to vote abandon because they kept coming back no matter how many times we kicked.

When we've been trying multiple times and now none of us can kick!

I honestly don't know why GM was coming in as double messages, I also could not screenshot the conversation so I had to copy pasta my log, sorry if its hard to read.

I just thought GM's have a jail they can whisk people to>? They don't have the power to remove a player->? It seems silly to just say kudos and be gone.

I have had conversations with GMs in the past, this GM seemed to be in a hurry. Just made me feel like, bleh. lol

I don't know that there's much a GM can do at this point but it would be great if the dev team could at least look into some way of keeping players from immediately queuing for things they've been kicked from.

Here lies in the problem of that idea. What about people getting vote dismissed soley because they are new or ilv isnt uber. What about those who vote dismissed by some asshat because they are on a healer and the tank wants to speed run and they dont, or wants them to dps and they dont want to. What about when an elitist vote dismisses you because you arent pulling what they consider "good" dps. That is the problem, it would give palyers the ability to grief more than it would give the griefers a penalty.

If you're being kicked for any of those reasons, you don't want to be in that group anyways. I know I love it when people talk and treat me like trash for not agreeing with them on anything /sarcasm

If a player gets kicked out of an instance, they shouldn't be able to rejoin it at all. I've had a few griefers who just instantly rejoin the instance when you kick them. Usually giving it a minute before initiating Refresh is good enough, but the said player shouldn't even be allowed within the same instance anymore. There's likely a valid reason that player got the boot.

Even if there's not, I'm unsure why that person would want to be in the same instance as the people who vote kicked them again.

They earned a chance at the loot via participation, regardless of the situation. Why should they be forced locked out if people are exploiting vote kick? argument goes both ways.

Hm, jump back to the in-progress run at a 4 min long CoD for a chance at loot, or requeue at a 0% progress pt. decisions...

The GM's don't have time to waste on every petty loser who decides to cause a problem and you really shouldn't be pasting conversations with a GM on here. Who do you think you are? They need proper evidence to take action and they can't just go banning people left and right for every tiny reason. As far as i can tell you couldn't provide enough information apart from ranting at the GM. Name of the player and server they are from plus logs file a proper report and kick them if they keep coming back just refuse to heal them let them pull a boss and die then don't rez them. They will either lie there or rez out and be locked out by the time they get back just start the boss up as soon as they die. They will eventually get bored. The reason they carry on is for reactions and they got a great one out of you.

If there is enough evidence the GM's have to deal with things fairly and if they have not done things and been reported they probably won't get more than an email warning them about their behaviour. You can't just expect them to ban everyone you don't like.

I didn't post any names or anything from the Get-go so I don't know why most of you are saying Its so horrible to post conversations. I did it to show how bad the situation was. > There's a chunk of the pre-conversations and I felt it wasn't needed to be added as it was very gritty and people were dropping language left and right.

Also this person was a sch - so they were running in, bio, sprint out. Or pulling with Eos. They weren't dying.
We were there for so long none of us were able to initiate kick anymore. I have been in a raid where a GM immanently took action and removed X person. So I'm sorry if it feels petty to you Moon. But if person is able to continually do it, over and over. Where a WHOLE raid/alliance is reporting them, then it shouldn't be considered - "petty".

I also don't report people on a whim. I don't expect people to be banned because I don't like them. I do would like griefers to be swiftly handled. I wouldnt* report someone who took loot from me ex. I know the differences this was beyond our control as a alliance.
