They should rename WoD "World of Salt"

You would think people had never seen wipes in WoD before. In fact I can't even remember the last time I ran WoD (aside from the few that never wipe) without insults being hurled at alliance members. It's always "Omw wtf y u guys so stupid?" instead of just realizing that when you throw 24 people together sometimes they won't have the best of teamwork.

In fact, I had a particularly filling meal of salt a couple days ago. Our run went well until Cerberus when I accidentally wiped the raid because I didn't realize his chains could time out before you applied them to the collar (thought I'd be smart and prolong the time he couldn't attack). I apologized and explained what happened in /a, but ended up having 4 guys rail on me about how bad I was. On our next attempt one of the WARs decided he'd do more damage DPSing with Defiance up, so after pulling aggro on me 3 times I just let him tank it. For some reason he decided to let aggro go again after about 30 seconds and Cerberus ran around killing healers and DPS - which I naturally got blamed for ("WTF BILLYGOAT", "This guys so awful", "God, this tank"). I subsequently got blamed for all 3 wipes on Cloud of Darkness being called everything from "terrible" to a "stupid [derogatory term for black man]." How can a tank wipe that raid? No clue but apparently I did. I may have egged them on a little after a certain point - after all, when they're that mad and insulting how could I resist? - but it was so satisfying when my tank chest dropped at the end and I got to smear it in all their faces with alliance chat.

*Edit* I see a lot of the replies here mistakenly using "Troll" and "Salty" as synonymous so I would like to clarify the difference.
Troll - Someone who acts out to get a (usually negative) response from other people because they find it amusing.
Salty - Someone who is angry, annoyed or bitter and who lashes out and makes aggressive or passive-aggressive comments to others to quell their frustration.

World of Darkness is a raid the builds from people of different servers. Eventually your going to run into trolls. Whenever I do ST/LoA/ WoD, I go in already thinking this might be a troll raid.

Don't it bother you or they win.

Nah. It's not the trolls that bother me, it's the griefers. They don't ruin my runs necessarily, I either just roll my eyes or as happened above start trolling them. I don't mind a little light trolling in my runs, it's just that some people way overreact to a single wipe. These are the same people who DF Ramuh EX or Turn 8 and expect a guaranteed clear then flip out on their party.

Salty people are everywhere. More often than not, it's just insecure people blaming others for mistakes of their own. That, or players with an immense hybris (and usually not the skills to match it).

Labyrinth is even worse. It's always people not being able to handle easy mechanics pointing fingers at each other. Labyrinth of Saltiness.

    If ppl bring the salt
    You bring the sugar
    If they bring the beer
    You bring the ice
    Cuz u cool like dat

How to counter troll in final boss in WoD
During the last part if ppl miss some tentacle eye add thingies prep urself for the incoming bad breath lol
As a whm stack vit and stoneskin urself, as ppl fail to kill shielded clouds it'll do a raid wide attack tht will probably kill everyone except tanks and u assuming ur 6k hp+ lol.
Proceed to LB3 then type play better plz " insert name of trolls "
Then bash on them for the remainder of fight.
U get commends for clutch save, trolls feel butthurt all is good!
    Worked for me

WoD groups usually have 1 or 2 trolls in it.
Last run I was in group A, The group B tank decided to stay out of the Belly and tried to fight the C tank for aggro on Cerberus from the back, he got aggro occasionally and caused the deaths of multiple people.
I was forced to jump into the Belly to counteract his stupidity (informing the A healers to keep me up). Luckily most DPS nuked the hell out of the adds and the healers let the B tank die and didn't res him. This way we survived by the skin of our teeth.

TL;DR there will always be trolls and stupid people everywhere. Don't let it get to you.

Oh you're one of THOSE. There is zero reason to hold the chain hostage it helps nothing. Why is a Tank holding chains anyway? Why aren't you pulling adds? The Tanks are the first thing Healers will throw a heal on you don't want to be near the chains. Holding them hostage just prolongs the time before the next belly phase which is a huge chunk of damage in other words pointless.

Amen to that. The answer is patience and teamwork: see how you managed to save the entire run with quick thinking and actual cooperation. I've had a similar situation with the Nabriales fight in the Chrysalis recently - what should have been a milk run turned into a wipe because of certain... quirky personalities, though we made it through on the second attempt.

For me so far, WoD has been a fairly positive experience - also because doing it as a FC event helps quite a bit. Hope the luck sticks around, so far the "worst" for our group has been the occasional spammy Alliance shouting at random all over the place, all the time, but it's easy to tune that out (also, it tends to happen far more often in CT and Syrcus Tower).

In that case it's usually people trying to rush it while ignoring mechanics entirely. This usually happens when one groups is a premade and they use the other two groups as fodder.

I think the point of this OP is a bit lost it's supposed to be about trolling but mostly comes off as "I did something wrong then people yelled at me and i didn't like it". In random groups people owe you nothing except to do their job. There is no rule that they need to be your friend and really most people just want to get through their weekly and get some loot then never do it again for another few days. The last thing anyone wants is wipes because people do something dumb. Are there trolls in WoD? Yes there are but most of the time not it's just a lot of people with instance rage because it's dragging out.
