Winner write the history, loser get the blame. I think it is way better if you don't flee away and become temporary loser to give them time to burn you. Just capture the heads figures and use Echo there right on spot and your name will always be clean before any of story goes out of control.

If you don't want to kill solders then you can at least knock them or something. (But you end up killing them while you run away anyway. Scions Npc seem to kill them). Although those crystal brave gang deserved to die, they seem know everything but goes for money despite we gave them chance to redeem themselves before.

Except the Echo doesn't prove anything to people without the Echo. To everyone else, it looks like you're wincing and pulling information out of your backside. Sure, it helps you investigate, but it can't be the crux of your information.
