sanctuary -rested xp. Does location matter?

Another newbie question for everyone.

Does it matter where you log out for the rested xp bonus. In other words does going the extra distance to the city inn give a greater rate then say hanging around one of the villages in the fields?

I don't think so.
Before 2.1 or so (Dec 2013), you had to log out in an inn room to get any rested exp at all (if I remember correctly), but since they changed it to be any santuary, I don't think there's any difference in the amount you get.

It was actually a bit more convoluted. Before that patch cities didn't give rested exp, but every other sanctuary did (I don't think city's were counted as sanctuaries). So if you were in a city you needed to teleport to a sanctuary in some other zone or go to an inn room.

I'm fairly certain that the bonus is static no matter what sanctuary you're in.
