Over past few days, me and some english players begin getting this annoying friend request from highly suspicious names. And they have constantly bugging me with these. And what's worse? I can't even blisted them fast enough since they somehow auto-logout or something.

I tried using busy status like past suggestion, but it turns out that this blocks me from getting tells from friends and even worse, ppl unable to invite me for things like rank S hunt marks.

There's also suggestion to fill every spot of my friend list, but I find this unorthodox since this won't allow new friend that's truly want to befriend me.

Already sent ticket, which unfortunately returned with generic automated replies.

Right now I have no idea what to do. And this is already driving me nuts.

I want to hijack this thread with a burning question:

If the RMT situation has gotten so terrible, does this mean RMT accounts are even spamming advertisements to each other? Will it eventually get so bad that RMT accounts come HERE to complain about... RMT?

With that out of the way, I'm rather sick of it too. I'm trying to tune it out, but it's not easy. Even muted the original tell chime. Haven't resorted to busy status yet, but why not. =/

I know what you mean.... the moment I put /busy off I get spammed with tells from RMT or they try to send me friend requests. I don't even remember how it feels not to have /busy up

I can't believe people actually spend money on Gil. I went to one of the site just to see what they are charging. Its nuts I won't post it here. My first car didn't cost as much as some of the prices.

If that's the same computer you use to pay stuff online or game with, I would suggest you run a full virus/malware scan.

Those sites are notorious for having nasty surprises hidden inside banners and redirect links to steal player info and copy stuff to your computer...

I would still do it just in case. You can never be too certain, especially since I've seen posts like this (though...not frogs.) followed a few days later with "I WAS HACKED!"

be careful going to those sites. Alot of them have keyloggers.
