They should try bringing the draw distance of other characters and mobs if not to this era then at least to the era of 10 years ago. The draw distance of other characters and mobs seriously harms the gameplay. You can't even follow a party by sight like you could in XI 10 years ago because the draw distance of other characters is the worst I've seriously ever seen on current gen consoles.
Most apparent near any camps and in the hell that is MW. The game can barely draw all the characters in 30 meter radius and just a few steps might put massive *now loading character models* -mode into action.
Unless this issue is solved I don't see how they can even dream of planning large scale battle content.

Even characters 2 meters in front of me have this problem. They should try bringing the draw distance of other characters and mobs if not to this era then at least to the era of 10 years ago. They have over 100 people and i would say maybe 10 people or less doing the events. I don't see how getting more people would make the fix come faster or adding the event team to fix other issue. All you going to do is make people leave most people don't even care about the fix i myself can care less as along as there coming there coming.
Enough said.

Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together Autographed By "Akihiko Yoshida Tarot Card Sweepstakes Winner
lol its a whole loop that the devs have learned this past year...
First, I doubt the OP knows about how "Corporate Enterprise project management" works...and whatever he says that states otherwise won't change my mind.
Alright now...the devs face in a huge dilemma and the one at fault is Tanaka for leaving the game in such bad condition. I can deal with it...Yoshi-P is doing everything possible to fix it.
But let's be frank here, If the dev team focuses solely on core mechanics and graphics and nothing else then there would be absolutely nothing to do and the subscription base (I guess we'll call it like that for now) would leave. If the dev team focuses solely on content and nothing else then the same thing would happen. Now obviously if either focus is set then the problems in that focus would resolve much faster but the fact of the matter is they can't afford to do that.
So the solution is...do both. It'll be much slower to fix the game yes but at least there is something to do regardless of broken gameplay.
And quite honestly, OP...if you don't like it no one's forcing you to play it. Actually you can just leave since you're demanding stuff so much for your own benefit...the dev team caters to everyone as you can see, not just you.

I love when these ridiculous Reallocate Team Resources threads that pop up. Seriously, go become a tester. It's not that hard. The only requirement is a High School Diploma. Learn about the development process from inside a company. Know what your talking about before you post something so stupid on a forum. The company I work for has a team of less than 100, including testers, for a AAA MMO and our events teams is two developers two testers and one writing. Thats it. FIVE people. Moving them to another team wouldn't make any difference. You want to know why?
TWO people cannot work on ONE code at the same time.
They can work on two different codes, they can discuss problems with the code, but they cannot edit the same code.
The dev I work directly with is working on three to seven systems at once. And he has to do all his work alone. If a producer tried to tell him that someone else was going to start helping him, he'd laugh in their face. It's just not possible.

How the hell didnt we notice that all this game needed was more shadows?
Who wants events to make the wait for the next patch less boring... Give us shadows!!!!!
Princess is amused by OP

OP is amused by thread. The overarching theme here that I am inferring from the majority of responses seems to indicate that the people responding want the game to fail. They can add 10 years worth of fresh content to the existing engine/game, and squeak along with 400 people per server not paying to play. Lets not aim too high right?
Fix the engine, Fix the lag, Fix the interface. I.E. FIX THE GAME.
When a game is doing so dreadfully bad after a year of being free, and its allegedly an AAA title, with a world recognized name, then no amount of content addition will be able to cover up what the real issues are with it, and those are numerous and many, and content is way down on the list.

You're just assuming that the game is going to be "aiming" at that.OP is amused by thread. They are...and the dev team has asked us countless of times to be patient...if you're not then I don't know what to tell you, friend...leave the forums and the game I guess? But then you're not even going to do that so...whatever floats your boat, friend.
