Never a mind was changed on an internet board, no matter how good your arguments are...
They never nerf the final turns in each Coil set anyway, so you know it's a troll post. Would have been more believable if he left out the T13 part.
If they must do anything, then give it echo. That'll be enough of a nerf in FCOB and people can still click it off.
Don't make it T6/T7 all over again when the fights got turned into 'roll your face across the keyboard and collect your loot'
It's happened twice now.
"Why would they nerf the first Coil?"
And then they nerf it.
"Why would they nerf the second Coil?"
And then they nerf it.
Why do they nerf it? Because it's in the DF, for the general populace, they expect you to be able to clear it with random strangers who may or may not know the fight in the time allotted. That is not happening in it's current state, so it's going to be nerfed.
Again, this has happened for the last 2 Coils, I don't know why people think the last one suddenly won't get nerfed, especially if you're expecting the Echo to be added to begin with.
Instead of nerfing the fights, they should make Easy Mode versions that still allow you to progress but drop no loot. That way people can still unlock SCoB and FCoB, but if they want gear drops from previous turns they'll need to man up and do the real thing. I just think it's a shame that most people will never get to experience the turns in their intended form. Echo is one thing (as you'll still wipe if you fail certain mechanics - T5 is evidence of this), but dumbing down mechanics that are meant to have a learning curve is just wrong.
maintenance is done. no nerfs. everyone can chill for now![]()
The hell? They finished really early tonight. I was expecting it to be down for another hour and a half or so.
There definitely will be some kind of nerf to FCOB before 3.0 arrives, along with the limit for Poetics being lifted, but that isn't happening tonight![]()
People were expecting it tonight...?
