All three "Serious" winners from the same server? Out of all the entries? Third winner wasn't even that great compared to the first two, either, but I guess it had the views? Disappointing.. The "Comedy" category was right on, at least.

Grats to all the winners! I was surprised to see some other VOs submitting entries but I guess there's definitely some overlap in "aspiring voice artists" and "FFXIV players"!

If they judged it that way it would be horribly biased T_T Would literally just be a popularity contest then. Not that difficult to force boost view counts and thumbs up.

Sinndra and my entry had around ~790 views and I think ~50 likes before the winners were announced and we hadn't posted in anywhere (I believe someone tweeted it, though). I believe "Iceheart's Message" had well over 1k views long before the contest ended.

I would very much hope they didn't go by views/likes because, as you said, having lots of online friends should not = you win.

Third entry here. Ours only had 200-300 views and three likes before the winners were announced, so it definitely wasn't by view count or popularity.

Congratulations to the other winners, I knew I wasn't gonna stand a chance in hell in the Serious category against so many talented voice actors.
