Is it okay to only use the first 3 mins of a cutscene?
Many cutscenes are excellent but are just too long...

I have a question. Are we allowed to voice more than one character ourselves? And are we allowed to used voice editing/special effects?
Another question: I've submitted an entry already, meaning that's my only entry that I'm eligible for.
However, could I still supply a voice for a friend's submission (in addition to their voice) and they would be eligible to win with that video but I wouldn't be?
That'd be absolutely fine by me, I just want to help out my friend.
Yes, as mentioned in our previous post, you are allowed to cut the scene to fit the 3 minute requirement.
You are more than welcome to voice numerous characters, in fact, some entries have done just that!
Yes, you may help other entrants. As you have mentioned, you will only be eligible for one prize.Another question: I've submitted an entry already, meaning that's my only entry that I'm eligible for.

We do have some excellent entries so far, but don’t be discouraged! Remember that if you enter (and you follow the rules) you will be awarded a Bluebird Earring. The contest ends on Friday, so get to work!

Ummm, couldn't you guys on Quebec *ahem* who commute there on a fixed address*cough* just not say you're from Quebec and apply anyway and just don't snitch/brag to your government when you win? It's just a contest, not a snuggling ring. It's not like there are Quebec government officials undercover looking at this forum unless they are that hardcore about resident safety *silenced*
I mean, sorry folks. SE has to say that rule out loud!! Even tho no one shows their passports here or something
And oh my gosh! I need to figure out how to get a cutscene out of my ps4!! D:
Look at your PS4 controller, around the touchpad thing in the top middle. There are two little buttons, one on either side of it. One is options, the other is share. You have to set it up (don't ask me how, you probably need to hook it up to a YT or Twitch account in your personal settings) and it'll then upload the last 15(?) minutes of gameplay I think. Just go to your inn room, find a journal entry scene you like, watch it, share it, download it to PC, add your audio track and cut it down to size, reupload it and you're finally done XD
Good luck!
Depends entirely on where it was being shipped to at that point >_> Remember this isn't just an in game item. Probably be disqualified once they figure out where it's being shipped to or earlier if they check the account information on all entrants.Ummm, couldn't you guys on Quebec *ahem* who commute there on a fixed address*cough* just not say you're from Quebec and apply anyway and just don't snitch/brag to your government when you win? please oh please make an easier event. i want them damn bluebird earrings so badly. the blue jay is outright my favorite type of bird. and my hometown baseball team is the Blue Jays... i would simply love to get them. but i don't know how to do voice acting and stuff! this contest is too difficult! T_T
Well, voice acting and script writing to match the cutscene is not really my specialty. But I submitted under Comedy anyway. It may not be as good as the others, but check it out when you got the time.
Those Canadian snuggling rings are hard to bust. It's just a contest, not a snuggling ring.
