How about Asia player?
How about Asia player?
And this again. For a game that runs off servers hosted in Montreal (Quebec, Canada), it's kind of awful that most of the North American contests near systematically exclude the province of Quebec. I guess it's just a language issue, seeing how the contest is posted in the English Forums only and the rules are not available in French (which would be required by law for operating in Quebec). By that extent, it feels like the French forums are only intended for the European French players, and there's no place for French North American content there.

looks like I can't edit my previous post to add to it, so here's the rest:
I don't live in Montreal anymore, I'm in Belgium now (which isn't much better as far as contests go), but I still feel concerned by issues like this.
People in Quebec don't get to participate because although they're in the right country, they're in the province that speaks the "wrong" language and no one wants to bother with them. Their fault for not speaking English like good Canadians do.
Good Job.

No, they said exactly what they meant."If you are under the legal age of majority in your country or state of residence (i.e., a "Minor"), your parents or legal guardians must read, understand, and agree to these Contest rules."
I think that's supposed to say the legal age of maturity. How many people are of a certain age has no bearing on the matter.

Could we please get some events in Europe as well? Something other than stupid screenshot contests.
The reason that Quebec residents are excluded is not solely a language issue...
The governing body which regulates contests has very strict rules and consequences, designed to protect residents. They require such issues as posting securities for prizes, letting the government mediate any dispute in the contest, paying the government a high upfront fee to even post the contest, etc.
You should really look up the rules as they are quite eye-popping and the main reason why most sweepstakes exclude Quebec.
The person who actually submits the entry AND any collaborators involved with the entry must be residing in the US or Canada (excluding Quebec) and must have a North America Square Enix Account.
ok that very stupid so i can't make a little video about that because i live in quebec and i don't know why ?
It's like this with a lot of countries, it's why they have to have separate contests. Even state to state it's weird in the U.S.The reason that Quebec residents are excluded is not solely a language issue...

Is there any intention to make a EU version of this contest?
I would love to enter on both categories, but it seems like I cant simple because I am not from NA.
So if the video is a little over 3 minutes, say 20 seconds or so. Does that still qualify?
