Thanks for the info on recording stuff! Does anyone have an organized list of cutscenes; like, what characters are in what ones or how long each scene is?

I was also wondering how much editing of our voices are we allowed to do and how many characters are we allowed to voice? Do we only voice a single character and ignore the others in the scene? Do we voice as many or as few as we like? Are we limited to characters that are our own gender? For example, I'm finding that I'm better at Yda and Y'shtola, but I'm learning that a lot of scenes that have them also have males that my girly voice isn't great at; if we are allowed to voice all characters in a scene, may we use audio programs to adjust our voice to fit the other gender characters? Even if you say no to that, are we allowed to do editing to make a voice fit into the scene better (sounding like you're in a large room to match a scene rather than my very small one irl)? Sorry if I'm rambling; I'm a bit tired... =u=

There appears to be some confusion when it comes to categorizing the videos. When I read this:
I was under the impression that although comedy meant you could alter the script to make it humorous, it doesn't state that it can't follow the script. It only says that the serious entries need to follow the script verbatim. If that had been the case, I wish that had been more clearly stated. And if it also the case, it would be nice if they could at least allow Katella Avenlea to move her video, as I was the one that told her to enter her video under "Comedy" since my interpretation of "comedy" is something that makes you laugh (And her video accomplished that to me.) Am I wrong to look at it this way?Serious category entries must stick to the in-game script verbatim.
Comedy category entries have free reign to create their own script.

I guess I'm trying to say, will our videos be disqualified for following the script under "comedy" category?

I assume it's not an issue if there's a brief interruption in the middle of the cutscene when no one is talking, right?
I had to use unregistered FRAPs and it only does 30 seconds at a time. :\

will there be a UK version of this contest?
Sometimes you just got to have Some fun
Uh.. you want a UK version? Ton of people asked for a European version already, but what the hell's the point of a UK-only one?
Why can't we just have a general "English" version, please quit with this senseless exclusion of people based on where they live.

Rie, I can understand why they'd want an EU version. It's like how I felt when I couldn't enter the cooking one. They just want to participate, that's all. I don't think they meant they wanted people excluded from it. So far, contests have been region based. There's nothing wrong with asking for your region to be able to participate. I do agree, a general "English" one would be nice, but I don't think we'll see that. Instead, I'd like to see more of what they tend to do with screenshot contests, an EU and an NA version

I want an EU version too, as Europe is where I happen to live. The person I quoted was asking for a "UK" version though, which would, again, exclude the rest of Europe. And that's just completely unnecessary.Rie, I can understand why they'd want an EU version. It's like how I felt when I couldn't enter the cooking one. They just want to participate, that's all.
