One of my Characters crashes in Limsa Lominsa on log in

I noticed earlier tonight I had issues crashing shortly after log in while in Limsa. As soon as I teleported out to Ul'Dah, never crashed again. Just took the airship back to Limsa and crashed on the load screen, and now I can't log in at all as it crashes before I get in every time (tried about 20 times now since earlier tonight it would do this but after a couple log ins it would let me in).

Just created a new character in Limsa to test, and I seem to be fine on the new character. Should I try and have a GM move my character and just never go back to limsa hah, or anyone have this issue before know what I can do? It's getting frustrating as there goes my nights playtime, and I wont be able to play again until Thursday....assuming I can log in then.

I'm currently reinstalling the game, but that's going to take about 3 hours to update, so I'm obviously done for tonight, just want to know if that doesn't fix it, if anyone has any ideas.

Delete everything from

%USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\FINAL FANTASY XIV - A Realm Reborn

and restart the game client. This sounds like something is corrupted on the client end, but it could also be that the server-sided character is "in limbo" and it's causing a crash in the game client because it's trying to go "nowhere"

Not sure if it was the reinstalling, or deleting of that folder, but either way this morning I was able to log in quick before work. If it happens again, I'll be sure to first try deleting that folder to see if it fixes it without needing a 3 hour update during peak hours.
