Maybe time to lower HP of bosses in "The Eyes Have It", "It's Not Lupus", etc.?

So, if anyone didn't notice, not many folks do FATEs these days. And when they do actually go do FATEs, they absolutely DO NOT do FATEs such as "The Eyes Have It", "It's Not Lupus", or any other FATE where the minimum HP value for the boss is so high that you can never come close to soloing these FATEs regardless of how many times in a row they are failed because no one did them before this time it spawned either.

Basically, if you want to do these FATEs, TOO BAD. You need like 10-20+ people on these FATEs to push them down in the same time frame as it takes 3-4 people (or solo sometimes) nearly any other FATE, so anyone doing FATEs for whatever reason will quickly learn to skip these because ain't nobody gonna help you out on them. Just now profitable.

So, how about it, SE? Maybe it's time to let go of the idea that these guys are "world bosses" and jack the HP down a bit, please? It's crazy when Svara can be destroyed relatively quickly, but some random crab or cyclops is like a towering immortal that no one challenges, much less kills.

I've been leveling up my DRG/BRD/NIN/SCH over the past ~10 or so days, and I've seen them getting downed constantly. That is on Gilgamesh.

The only boss-fate that gets ignored consistently is Gorgimera.

I thought they are tied to a level scale?

I mean... It's scaled according to how much players are around. I've seen Svara getting killed in less than 10 minutes, while others with only 30 seconds to spare.

I can attest that on Excalibur those encounters still tend to draw quite a bit of attention, though your actual mileage may vary according to the time of the day and the week. As an Europe-based player, I've done my share of them without much trouble. And yes, they do scale.

Just start a FATE party of your own, other people will need them too for achievements, RNG drops, and company seals (even more so if they're working on a Relic).

I personally tanked "Its not Lupus" twice in one day for some leveling newbies a couple o' weeks back and see groups at "The eyes have it" whenever I'm in Coer.

Times like this make me glad I find it fun to tank them as a level 50 WHM holding hate by regen spamming anyone hit by the adds / aoe's. Makes it a lot easier for fate goers to consider running such fates.

I haven't seen anyone beat Cancer for a long time!

Silly pun aside, I still see people clear "The eyes have it" It's exp reward is pretty decent. "Go Go Gorgimera" on the other hand is the worst. Though I will not forget the fun on release week when hundreds of people got destroyed by its ram and dragons voice!

There are people on Balmung that do these high HP fights every day, with no problem...

While I'm in Coerthas working on Ixal Beast Quest, people usually shout if anyone wants to take down Steropes, a lot of people do come down to fight. I usually change to Ninja since I'm still working on it and help out, especially since it's a fun fight. I've taken down Lazy Laurence a couple times lately, sometimes we fail, but it gets fought against occasionally. Gorgimera & Cancer on the other hand don't get much attention for some reason. People still leveling at Eastern La Noscea still ignore Cancer and Northern Thanalan is a ghost town.

Maybe you just need to shout if anyone wants to do it like what happens when I play. Some people wouldn't mind if they know others want to try it.
