Leave them rare, please. I don't even own one, but I like rare, hard to attain things in the game.

But they aren't hard to obtain, the only thing that makes them hard to get is lotting vs 7 other people, i have seen quite enough of them to know that they are no where near rare. it's just rare to win one. especially if you are on a server where even winning primal fights without massive wipes is rare in it self.

You can always start a Kirin static. Get 7 other players in a ls, each person gets a whistle and then move to the next primal.

I think ppl will do the old 3 Primals even more with a token system in place. Just seems ridiculous to do over 100 runs and still not get 1. This leave players who didn't get the mount defeated and while the one that won is unmotivated to continue. Also it is really difficult to get ppl to do Old Content to begin with. Hell look at the New Odin Fight. It was popular for about 2 weeks now no one is doing it so good luck ever getting any. A token system for the old 4 Primal Mounts would get players interested in doing the Old 3 Primals Again.

I agree with starting an LS for the other 3 Levi, Ramuh, and Shiva. But Old content is hard too motivate especially if its cosmetic, and not progression.

Or just give up. There will be better mounts in expansion anyways. I given up when I saw 12 ponies get rolled away from me because RNGesus hates me and gives me rolls below 50 for pony mounts.

I suggest don't try to grind it and don't make an effort specifically for pony drops. It'll be like, 80% disappointment and 20% celebration (that you finally got the bloody thing rather than happy you got it) or 100% disappointment when you don't win a pony after a whole day of primal grinding.

I just run primals EX for other reasons, like weapons or helping someone pass it. Pony drops are a bonus, but I'm super pessimistic on my chances of winning them.

Unfortunatly this does not work in most cases, people are far to selfish, once they get their mount they "lose" interest and ready to move to the primal they need. friend even told me a tell of a person in their FC begging them to help with primal mount farming and told people he will "gladly" help them farm theirs when he is done, what happend when he got all mounts? never set foot in any primals again.

Actually it's a very proficient way of getting all the mounts. While it's unfortunate that your friend of a friend in some fc shirked their responsibility, doing it the static way is going to increase your odds and the speed in which you get mounts. Agree to terms before you begin, if someone loots and leaves then kick from the static and blist.

well its not just that one freind, thier have been many more cases of such acts, and plenty of them across all servers, just because you may think that to work for you most other cases, people simply do not care, not everyone will be lucky to find that rare breed of online players that are willing to stick it out untill everyone gets a cosmetic item.

My raid static goes pony farming on occasion. We usually go farm one of the ones that most of us have for a few runs, trying to get the last person their pony so that we can stop going to that one altogether. After a few runs if we haven't had any luck, we move on to one where the entire static needs the pony and continue to farm there.

I'll be happy with a 50% drop as no one does ex primals anymore
