So i have been in this sub forum asking if could get all my stuff before heavensward because i have limited play time because i have to focus on some school exams.

I decided to put gaming aside for these 2 months to focus on the exams and start playing again when heavensward comes out because then its all out with summer vacations.

I loved my two weeks in this game, and would love to come back but is it a good time to come back when Heavensward comes out? I will probably start with the new race, maybe the new jobs if you can choose them right away, but i will feell so behind, what do you guys think?

The new jobs will require you to have one of the current classes up to lvl 30 at the minimum. Good luck on your exams!

Keeping the game accessible to even new players is a priority for Square, so its not a big deal if you wait. But if you start now, you can work on getting some non-optional things out of the way in advance, and there's plenty of things to enjoy right now if you do have some time.

Note that you'll need to be level 30 to unlock the new jobs, and you'll have to have completed all the currently existing main story (several days of questing at least, once you're max level) to get to expac areas.

tl;dr: There will never be a "bad time" or "too late" to start.

A new game can take up a lot of time and focus for many people, so if you're like that, then waiting so you can focus on your exams while you need to is probably a good idea. The game will be here when you're ready for it, whether that's now or in a couple months.

If you choose to continue now, you can prepare your current character(s) for heavensward by continuing through the main scenario. The expansion's main scenario and at least the major new areas are going to require completion of the main scenario that already exists. If you wait and start when Heavesward is available, you'll be able to make an Au Ra character to do that content with. Both are good options.

As for whether you'll feel behind, that's what you should want in an MMO. The only time you're not "behind" is when you've run out of things to do, and you never want to reach that point. Being behind just means you still have plenty of gaming ahead of you, making the game worth sticking around for.

SE is quite careful to make sure that older content (especially content that's in the main story line) remains important, so you shouldn't have any trouble coming in later to it. Besides, there are likely to be a lot of new players, as well as players starting new characters, when the expansion comes and a new race is available, so you'd have plenty of company in being new to it.

Thank you for the responses and yes i will wait for the expansion and focus on exams while playing some lighter hames, also, does anyone know if the bonus itens from the CE give that 10% EXP bellow lvl 10?

The collectors of the normal had Mog cap or Helmet of light.... I dunno have both one is for being beta player iirc. Another Item that can be helpful is when you use one of the friend recruitment codes when you sub there you get Friendship circlet for 10% bonus xp till level 25, an item to port to your recruiter (if online and on your server) and a 2-seater choco iirc.

I already have the game, but never subscried because i only used the free 30 days, so can i use that code to receive that item when i sub? Or should have i used it before buying the game?

You can still use it. That opportunity exists from the time you buy/register the game until the time you first add additional subscription time to your account. The Friendship Circlet you'll get gives 20% bonus experience up to level 25. (You don't get the Draught Chocobo, though, unless you in turn recruit someone else and they subscribe for at least 90 days.)
