Yeah, I've gone with FC tanks that don't bother with them.. One asked how he was doing (I was on healer) and I suggested more CD use.. His response was "I keep them for emergencies."![]()

Most likely a DPS pretending to be tank just so they can queue faster.
I pop big cooldowns on the first pull (that includes Hallowed Ground) and watch the healer. If the healer doesn't show any inclination to DPS, I don't bother with cooldowns for the rest of the dungeon. At least then the healer is forced to do something other than stand around half the time.

So they can say the words "why no healz? u bad"
This is something I used to do when I 1st started out tanking back in my WoW days. As a new tank you do sometimes get this oh the bosses will probabaly have big hit so I need to save it for them mindset. You kinda massively over-estimate how long a 2-3 min cooldown actually is and how long getting through trash to the boss takes. But back then crowd control was a thing and you didnt mass pull unless you were a Prot Pally so cooldowns wernt really needed as much.
I do wonder though when a tanks HP is dropping more and more and they think death is a better option than a CD, then blame the healer.
