There is no RMT in Japan servers, if you don't believe me try create one alt at one of the Japanese servers and you will know it. So far from my experience all mmo is grind base. I agree about the house availability is limited but we can have Private Chamber, and the size of the room is slightly larger than the small house.

That is a big lie lol, there are BAZILIONS of these so called gilfarmer, creating massive army of Black Mage bots to become materia factories.They are easy to spot, just do player search and check english as language, and you will see hundreds of these bots in Uldah. It will be either thaumarge or archer army, or all level 50 black mage with no Free Company, no grand company affiliation.

Yes, we don't get those "friendly tells" every 30 seconds advertising bullshit website that sells gills - but RMT is getting desperate now and re-using the "add friend" tactics to annoy you. They even start targeting smaller server that is primarily Japanese players, such as Belias...which is really baffling.

At launch they spamed the /shout chat every 5 seconds. Now it is only 5 times the week in the /tell chat.

Excuse me but since you play on a Legacy Server... They ARE spamming the /shout again and not only every 5 seconds, when they start is 1 shout every second.

I'd say it's near impossible to get banned from ff 14. I was in a duty finder with a teleporting black mage in full 130 coil gear with a never ending swift cast buff. It was an automated bot that left the group after first boss.

RMT would never bother with grinding coil, there is nothing profitable from it. If you see a full coil bot I would bet on it that it's a hacked account running on RMT bots.

I would also like to pipe in here, the only times I have got a 90k are twofold, mass 90ks, when half the server disconnects (you see a mass of xxx logged out in FC messages, then you go) and when it's just me, and I have to reset my router, or I have a genuine problem. 9 times out of 10 when it's only you disconnecting the problem is either with you, the path taken to the servers or your ISP, Some ISPs will throttle mmo traffic as it's not seen as important or they have catergorised it wrong (they will however never admit either of these, and just blame SE), that's why the rest of the internet can be working, even an IP address change can cause a 90k, and allow you to instantly reconnect. Or your ISP might use inadequate routes to SE, the internet isn't only you > ISP > SE, it's more like You > ISP > Local hub > another local hub > a further local hub > National hub > a few Canada hubs > Montreal local hubs and finally SE. A latency issue can occur at any hop, neither SE or your ISP has control over these, therefore you can't really blame them and any can cause lag, either widespread or individual. The issue is worse in Europe because we have to add transatlantic fibre cables into the equation.

Also on the RMT tells yes they can add a spam filter, but the "companies" just start using code, and it's not only using things like greek characters, that look similar to roman characters, I have seen at times they will say something like "Hello, please visit w9w.9e6u7g0l5.c0m 9 = W 6=B 7=Y 5=D 0+O" tell me, how does a spam filter stop things like this? RMT adapt, the only way to stop it is to stop people buying, and they will die.

Did you or anyone else report it? If not then how is it going to get banned when few, if any, actually take the time to report bots, spammers and other miscreants?
