Grand Company Page Typo?

Sorry if this has been mentioned or if I'm just reading this wrong, but Nael van Darnus's motto seems to contain an error. It reads "Opposition must needs be put down with fire and steel." My guess is it's meant to be "Opposition must be put down...."

It's an old English way of saying it. It seems awkward, but they've been dipping a lot of things in older traditions.

Basically, in this form, need is behaving as an adverb. A more modern way to say this would be "It's necessary to use fire and steel to put down opposition." Effectively saying he's of a different mind set than the other gent in the update who uses political tactics and subterfuge.
