T13 - Moving Bahamut in phase 2 vs keeping stationary

Just curious as to whether there were any strong opinions on whether moving Bahamut in phase 2 vs keeping him stationary (either south or north) was the 'best' approach.

    Like so:

Seems like moving Bahamut, and keeping the add where they spawn, will allow for an easier OT pickup and allows the DPS to go full throttle sooner. Any thoughts?

The reason it's better to move bahamut is to allow the OT more time to build hate. The faster the OT can build hate the faster the spawn can die (and less risk of it B-lining to a healer after Rage). Since no one is attacking Bahamut anyway at that point (except SMNs who keep DoTs up) there's no reason to keep him stationary.

Yea you can keep Bahamut still and relocate the add, but it's very inefficient and much riskier for almost no gain.

In my opinion if you have 2 ranged the most efficient thing is to just keep him still and have the melee stay on the boss. They never have to switch target, uptime on bahamut is optimal and the ranged don't lose DPS from enemy movement.

less tank movement and minimal melee movement. Easy to remember. just move Bahamut South during gigaflare, move Bahamut back north when Rage is casting and 2nd add about to land, Bahamut stays north when the 3rd add spawns, ranged takes care of the last add

I just pull Bahamut back as close to the wall as possible. It allows for all adds except the first to be tanked where they spawn. And honestly the first one can be burned down before it even tethers.

It's personal preference of the group. It is a dps loss on whichever is moved so you have to decide if you want the dps loss on the add or on Bahamut. During progression we kept a melee on the boss so decided to move the add keeping Bahamut south to give our monk the most uptime. The dps check was very tight then. Our ninja had to swap to help with the add. Now we move Bahamut since we pug a lot and it makes it easier for the OT to pick up the add.
