Eh, to me part of the fun IS the math. I enjoy figuring out what a class is capable of in a vacuum, then trying to apply it to actual encounters. If that isn't your cup of tea, I understand.
The thing you said I do take issue with is when you said WHM is perfect. It isn't, and neither is any other class, encounter, or mechanic in this or any other game. Nothing is ever perfect, and I think that looking for ways things could be improved is fun.
