Lack of players

Is it just me or are there barely any players on even during prime time? Outside of Final Coil (haven't beaten T9) it seems like there's no one running anything. Is it like that on all servers or just Ragnarok/EU data center?

This is common before patches (or expansions), when no new content is added to keep people occupied, they play less and less or stop playing until the next big patch. Odin is fairly busy still, but a lot of people are playing less and less here too.

People don't typically run stuff like T9 cause its old content, everyone is doing final coil because it drops the highest ilvl gear.

Right. I find it pathetic lol. There should be more to do than the newest coils. Some people (like my FC) don't like to raid or haven't had time to put together a static. But I still think there should be more than just "farm t13 lulz"

They added incentives to do First Coil by having it drop mats for i110 crafted gear. A lot of people probably hoped for SOMETHING to be added to fill in the gap since expansion is so late but there's nothing announced and nothing in sight so people are just chilling and doing something else, or just final coil as there's no incentive to do second coil after you've cleared it.

It realy depends on the servers, but I would not be suprised if we have less active players online for the comming months. Its a common event that before a expansion gets released the last 3-6 months there is less activity, most players have already done what they wanted to achieve in the game or they are finishing up stuff, but taking it slow, because there is no new content for the comming 3 months. I will take a break after I have leveled all my battle classes and I know alot of friends that are going to do aswell. A little downtime before we can go NOLIFE mode when the expansion hits.

The other thing could be that Aprl and May are known for AAA game releases, so alot of players take an advantage of the no new content and play those games. Personaly I can not wait for GTA V and Witcher 3.

Ragnarok? Lack of players? What?
Ok, now there are only 8 parties in PF but it is 1 AM. Any time of day there are like 15 - 20 parties in PF varying from 35+ fate zones to coil farm and spiritbonding, also lots of T9 clear parties and primal farms. I don't know what else would you expect players to run.
People usually DF dungeons and stuff like that or go with their FC mates and hunts are no longer viable. There really isn't much more to do with players.
