    Lord Lolorito (spoilers)

    It appears to me like they have set him up to be a major antagonist of the 3.x series, maybe the main one.

    He appears not once but twice in the CGI intro video to Heavensward.

    First when Raubahn's arm hits the floor, the next face we see is not Ilberd, but rather Lolorito. Later in the trailer we get another evil pose from him in a dark room intermittently lit by strikes of lightning as brass blades kneel before him, immediately followed by a look at Raubahn captive in a cell.

    Lolorito's prevalence in the trailer and the lack of Ilberd makes it look like Lolorito is the evil mastermind behind Ul'Dah's problems and everyone else was pawns in his game. What are your thoughts about this? Could Lolorito have been pulling the strings of Adeledji too? Does he have plans for Ultima Omega? Could he be in cahoots with Ascians?

    First off... HI LORE FORUMS! My first post here!!! EEEPPP Long time stalke... reader >.>;

    From what I can tell, just my personal perspective and theory, Lolorito has been behind all of this from the very beginning, he's been rather "evil"ish since his 1.0 days as well it seems according to the lore/CS's. There is no doubt in my mind he was pulling everyone's strings, including Teledji's. And it's for *Omega, not Ultima, we've already beaten the Ultima weapon XD

    It bothered me that TelAdel had ishgard knights ready to send Aymeric away. Sounded way too convenient. But with TelAdel's death I feel like Lolorito is in league with the Ascians, namely the two behind the Holy See. after all, in the Uldah quests, you are fighting an Ascian that was associated with Lolorito's soldiers. Moreover its been speculated that what TelAdel did was a massive overreach over Lolorito's plans for him, given the scowling at the end--Nanamo was supposed to die (Ilberd saying I killed her and all) but not TelAdel ; not publicly anyway because now it created unnecessary chaos. I'm willing to think that Lolorito didn't mean to get the WoL and Scions framed, since we're more useful being happily unaware. But damage control had to come first.

    Now the Monaterists control Ul'dah and the crystal braves but its iron grip is shakey. They cannot completely keep Limsa and Gridania cowed, because it's obvious by Merl's statement to Alphinaud that country comes before the alliance. Omega Weapon will have to be put on hold.

    Nah.

    Lolo will be a main target for maybe a patch or two, until the real threat is revealed. He's just not menacing (Or interesting) enough to carry the main villain crown for long.

    I think that by the time 2.55 ends it's pretty clear Lolorito was the puppetmaster behind Ul'dah's political strife in the 2.1-2.55 storyline. Lolorito effectively bought out the Crystal Braves to give himself authority in Mor Dhona, had the Sultana poisoned, framed you for it, exploited Teledji's nature to goad Raubahn into killing him, and tried to have you, Raubahn, and the Scions detained / imprisoned; with that he has effectively usurped all authority in and (to a lesser extent) beyond Ul'dah, as well as cleared the way for the excavation of Omega, all without a drop of blood on his own hands.

    The only thing Lolorito didn't seem to predict or prepare for was the Dravanian attack during the feast and Raubahn freeing you. The Dravanian attack actually worked against him since the fiasco would have been a major PR disaster and might have pushed Ishgard away from rejoining the Alliance (which would probably be beneficial to Lolorito), while having you out and about threatens his plans in general. Everything else was orchestrated by him. No doubt Lolorito will be a major antagonistic force in 3.x, but how soon and how we deal with him... I'm not sure yet.

    EDIT: I sincerely believe he was puppeteering Teledji to get him to take the fall for the Sultana's murder (as Adeleji was obviously happy with the outcome, but refused responsibility with the grace of a wet dog. Lolorito knew Teledji wasn't responsible but would still gloat about it, and that it would push Raubahn's long-simmering rage past the breaking point). I also believe he may be in cahoots with the Ascians; until the trailer showed him casting a shadow in the thunderstorm I was starting to think Lolorito himself may have been possessed by one.

    The only part I don't think Lolorito organised was Ishgard's knights coming.
    Rejoining the alliance was a wild card and even he can't organise dragon attacks. Being fanatical zealots to the Ishgard cause, case in point why we went there in the first place (Its utterly outside Ul'Duh's influence) if the monetarists had any power in Ishgard they would of found the surviving scions in days.

    That said the planned seemed to go boobs up at the end on his part anyway so it wasn't that ironclad in the first place.

    I think that the knights coming was orchestrated by someone, as the attack was a surprise attack no one expected. I would be willing to bet that someone is pulling Ice Heart's strings to make them attack at opportune times, preventing the alliance from coming to full might. I just want to know if Midgarsomr is an ally or yours or not.

    We cannot make sugguestions about if Lorolito is with the Asicians, Garleans or just hymself this soon. For everything I saw on the 2.55 CS and the trailer is still not evidence enought on what could it be the true intentions of him.
