    What do you do

    When you are not on the main story quests? When you completed all the side quests you could find? and When you completed all the leves you can for the 3 days?

    Im stuck on rank 16 having to wait 2 more ranks till i can get the next main story quest. and wondering what should i be doing now? so far just grinding.

    Sorry for seeming like a complete and utter noob, but i kinda of wondering how should my time be spent wisely.

    Explore! Have you been to any of the other major cities yet? Have you tried out crafting or gathering?

    Don't worry about seeming newbish. This game doesn't exactly hold players' hands.

    Alrighty then to the auto run button. and yea ill try my hand at crafting once i figured out where to buy the starter gear. And yea i've ran all the way from gridania to limsa so been to the 3 cities.

    Ya go out explore, kill random things, gather, craft make friends ^^.
    And just a point of reference leves reset every one and haf days, not 3

    I agree, explore and try visit some of the cystals and gates so you have them ready for future use.

    Elemental, Don't think your a noob. Your only a noob when you walk into a city while still in active mode. I was stuck in that mode for 3 hours when i started.=)

    Anyway, Exploring is definitely the best thing to do when the game hits a slow spot.
