    You almost never want to use Waste Not 2.

    You should be doing stuff manually, though. Comfort Zone, Inner Quiet, then whatever it takes to get you one (or two, or three, depending on how much you want to bait) Careful Synthesis 2's away from completion. Whether this is through Steady Hand 2 -> Rapid Synthesis, or Ingenuity (1 or 2) -> Careful Synthesis 2/Standard Synthesis, is up to you. Piece by Piece can often provide a tremendous amount of Progress when used as the first Synthesis type move or two. Once you are comfortably close to completion, add in your Quality. Steady Hand 2 -> Hasty Touch spam, replacing Hasty Touch with Basic Touch if you've a sufficient surplus of CP. Use Master's Mend 2, Waste Not, and Manipulation/Master's Mend to control/restore your Durability. Tricks of the trade, of course, restores CP, as does Comfort Zone.

    Your finisher will depend upon how much CP you save for it ... Steady Hand, Great Strides, Ingenuity 2, Innovation, Byregot's is my usual finisher. I basically use Ing 2 and Inno as my Good/Excellent bait. If you prefer to use CS or CS2, then by all means, go for it.

    Now when you say bait, you mean waiting for a good or excellent to spawn up to hit it with a advance touch correct?
    I do stuff manually no macros rather not waste it a macro on chance.
    Do I always bait and wait for a good or excellent till I'm set on progress? Since I'm thinking I should do
    Comfort zone, inner quiet, steady hands 2 bait with careful synth 2, and when it is good/excellent hit it with advance right, or should I risk a hasty touch? Since Saving CP is Essential.

    Baiting is only for the finisher, i.e. your last quality action. You'll be using Byregots for this.

    If you get Good during mid-craft you want to use ToTT. Excellent, I prefer to use Basic Touch for the stack since it's 100%.

    Your typical 3 star crafting will looks something like.

    CZ -> IQ -> SH2 -> RS -> RS -> HT -> HT -> .... continue hitting quality using Mend or Manipulation until 40 durability at around ~60-100CP. Then the finisher looks something like..
    SH -> GS -> Innovation -> CS2 -> Byregots -> CS2 -> CS2

    Of course, your Byregots placement will change depending on the conditions baited. If you have enough CP for round 2 you could do that as well.
    Some people prefer to put in Ing 2 on the finisher to cut down the progress step by 1 and get a little more on the Byregots. Then you can start the finisher at 30 durability.

    Rotations vary wildly between different people of course, some have different starters, some have different finishers..
