    Twinthread(and other 1 star 40 durability) rotation

After searching for a rotation with high HQ success with NQ mats for my particular stats, I have one that has been very good so far. A lot of the rotations I have seen require more CP than I have so for those with a bit less this has worked for me very well. (This rotation was actually given to me by Cerak in my FC so the credit goes to him.)

    Stats:
    372 Crafting
    361 Control
    344 CP--> using regular stone soup(vendor) +17 CP for a total of 361 CP

Using Hasty Touch means at the mercy of the RNG which means some synths will be terrible on fails so this is not a guaranteed 100% but I have had very high success with it. (If I had to guess maybe 90-95% HQ results starting from NQ mats)

    1. Comfort Zone
*hit Tricks of the Trade if good condition

    2. Inner Quiet
*hit Tricks of the Trade if good condition

    3. Steady Hand II
*hit Tricks of the Trade if good condition
**hitting Tricks here will result in only 3 Hasty Touches after the next Manipulation

    4. Manipulation

*NOTE: for every Tricks hit above you can substitute a Basic Touch for one of the next Hasty Touches to eliminate the RNG (I wait for good conditions when substituting my Basic Touch(es) in. You can wait until the next set of touches as along as you keep track of your substitute chances.)

    5. Hasty Touch

    6. Hasty Touch

    7. Hasty Touch

    8. Hasty Touch*(see step 3 notes)
*hit Tricks after the last Touch here if good condition pops, see NOTE above

    9. Steady Hand II*(same notes as step 3 above)

    10. Manipulation

    11. Hasty Touch

    12. Hasty Touch

    13. Hasty Touch

    14. Hasty Touch*(see step 3 notes)

*NOTE: at this point you need a minimum of 131 CP to finish this rotation

    15. Steady Hand II

    16. Great Strides

    17. Innovation
*hit Byregot's here if good condition pops after Innovation

    18. Ingenuity II

    19. Byregot's Blessing

    20. Careful Synthesis II

I've used this one to great success:

    Only requires 338 CP

There are a lot useful ones in this thread http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...tations-Thread. With your stats you can normally get to 95-98% without hasty touch, if you get a bit more CP you can adjust the rotation to even get higher % at HQ (like change Basic touch to standard/advance touch).

The nice thing about Twinthread is you can afford to be sloppy with your rotation. When making Twinthread, I use a lazy crafting macro that uses four Hasty Touches and three Basic; if even two of those Hasties fail, I still wind up with 90% or better chance to HQ, and even three failures still has a fair shot to succeed, all without needing to pay any attention to Good or Excellent procs until it's time to Byergot's. After a hundred synths, I'll usually wind up with three to five NQ Twinthread, but that's okay, as there's PLENTY of useful things to craft with NQ Twinthread.

I'll have to do some testing with your control value, but I use a modified rotation of what I've seen here on the forums.

    Comfort Zone
    Inner Quiet
    Steady Hand 2
    Manipulation
    Basic Touch x4
    Steady Hand 2
    Ingenuity 2
    Innovation
    Basic Touch
    Great Strides
    Byregot's Blessing
    Careful Synthesis 2

Requires 344 or less CP, no trick procs, and no RNG. It may not be 100% with control of 361, but with food you can up a Basic or two to Standard Touches to fix that.

Also, if you're looking for some cheap CP food, you can make pea soup which gives 26 CP as hq, same as nq fish soup and it only requires Jade Peas as the ingredient, rest can be vendor bought. level 26, so it's easy to make also. I usually make 3-4 stacks of them at a time and use it for my everyday crafts.

You don't even need comfort zone for 1 star NQ synths or the 2 star synths with those stats you have. You probably don't need HQ mats either, but you can try this and see how it goes for you. This is what I did back then as well as what I've helped others with too and it works out good.

348 Crafting :: 335 Control :: 340 CP + HQ bouillabaisse (you want 360 CP for this rotation)

Rotation 1: Inner Quiet > Steady Hand II > Waste Not > Hasty Touch x 4
(If condition is good use Tricks of the Trade)
Rotation 2: Manipulation > Steady Hand II > Waste Not > Hasty Touch x 4
(If condition is good use Tricks of the Trade)

Now here is where things can go 3 ways. If your CP is 96-104 use Rotation 3. If your CP is 105 or higher use Rotation 4. (Optional - If you have an Excellent Condition use Rotation 5.)

Rotation 3: Great Strides > Ingenuity > Byregot's Blessing > Careful Synth II > Careful Synth II
Rotation 4: Great Strides > Steady Hand > Byregot's Blessing > Ingenuity > Careful Synth II > Careful Synth II
(Rotation 5: Byregot's Blessing > Ingenuity > Careful Synth II > Careful Synth II)

Comfort Zone turns 66 CP into 80 CP, thus reducing food requirements (no need to spend 3-5k on Bouillabaise anyways, waste of money for 1-2* Synths) which is why it gets used. It effectively cuts off 14 CP required from the rotation.

    349 CP
    --------

    01 >>>Comfort Zone
    02 >>> Inner Quiet
    03 >>> Steady Hand II
    04 >>> Manipulation
    05 >>> Basic Touch
    06 >>> Basic Touch
    07 >>> Basic Touch
    08 >>> Basic Touch
    09 >>> Steady Hand
    10 >>> Ingenuity II
    11 >>> Innovation
    12 >>> Standard Touch
    13 >>> Great Strides
    14 >>> Byregot's Blessing
    15 >>> Careful Synthesis II

This has the least amount of steps to complete that I've seen, 349 CP isn't that demanding either

edit: you shouldn't hasty touch at all for these 1 star synths. These should be RNG free, low step rotations. Hasty is for building IQ stacks for more difficult synths like 3 and 4 star.

Bloody and Juniglee have shown the same
