    In other games the mail system has allowed me to keep in contact with friends that have logged off or send items to them if im unable to get to them... I believe it is a system that is needed for a MMO to survive... I can see not adding chocobo's at the start would help ppl "Explore" but not adding a mail system is just odd... Even if it was there to force ppl to meet face to face its very time consuming and difficult to move items between ppl
