See and this is why I think this was a bad idea to release that part of the video when players haven't beaten FCoB Turn 12 yet. I knew some people were gonna watch it and go HUH?! I don't remember that! What is going on?. That cutscene is for beating turn 12 of the final coil of bahamut. You have to know the story up to that point and after the fight everything is explained to you. That was to me a major reward for beating final coil. Was extremely rewarding unlocking that cutscene and getting the story of what happened.

It's not so different than anyone who didn't play 1.0. They would have absolutely no idea who this guy is other than a very short winded discourse between the twins.
It was a great reward, I agree. But it can't be locked behind difficult encounters forever. There are many who will never set foot in t12 and otherwise have no way of knowing the story. With an expansion on the way, it's time to let everyone in on the fun. And if that means releasing the video rather than nerfing the fight, I'm okay with that!

It doesn't really matter if people have beaten it or not. Releasing the trailer is fine. Honestly, if they haven't beaten it.... Unless people say something, who's to say it's part of the final coil end animation?

It's a cool story, and releasing this trailer might wet some peoples appetites to go wipe in turn 13 so they can watch/read the whole story. Because, that extra part released today is just a taste really. If SE is saying something by letting out this sort of mini spoiler, it's to go play coil some more, while it's still something people are gonna do. Certainly, after the xpac is out, much less people will be doing it.... lol That's just a couple weeks away! (6-7 weeks right?)

Turn 13 is much well within grasp for people than it was when released. Gear/hp/accuracy cap should be much less of a issue and more people know how to beat it now. It's certainly not easy for most, but it's a fun endeavor that one can definitely meet some friends while getting there. If it was super easy, it would be less satisfying to finally beat it. It's more about the journey than the destination right? It might be a long trip sometimes, but it's a excuse to play with friends.
