Please let us *really* ride airships

Hello, adventurers.

I read Yoshida-san's latest letter and I'm surprised that, if I understood correctly, we won't actually be able to ride airships, but there will only be two cutscenes for departure and arrival.

Now, I can understand that many adventurers would like to have a faster way to travel between cities... but this is way too fast, in my opinion...!

I'm opening this Topic because I don't see any plan to change this in patch 1.20 and 1.21, and I'd really like to properly ride an airship and enjoy my trip in Eorzea's skies with other adventurers. I had already imagined it and all, staring at the landscape and gazing upon sunsets and dawns from above, with a Great music in the background.

Will such a feature be implemented after patch 1.21?

As I'm sure other adventurers also have this desire, let the dev team hear your voice here if you wish.

He stated this pre 1.18 patch that initial airships are going to be insta travel per se and later they will put the world travel into the airship travel but it most likely won't show up prior to 1.21. Though I can assure you that yes we will eventually get to travel on the airships.

FFXI's airship rides took 2-3 minutes...

u sure? they felt way longer lol. either way 3mins is 3mins longer then most want to twiddle there thumbs to get to where they actually want to go. the boats were cool to take for me though cause i rather afk on a boat for 3mins if that was it, then run on choco for even 1min. afk 3min or pay attention running for 1 i'll take the boat lol. pretty sure though it was way longer then 3mins lol, time to kill sea horror took longer then that i'm sure. think took 2-3mins just for the skellies to even pop as an event.
