More FF Cross Over Events

FFVII or X - the HD re-release of the later has already long came and gone without any crossover event occurring so sadly that's pretty much the proof right there.)

This is true and you're probably right on that front. I was aware these other cross over events marked some form of milestone for the respected title, so I would have expected no different for any possible future events. Before FFX HD's release I was hopeful for a crossover event, but as you say since that didn't happen the chances of any future events are slim.

However if not through cross over events then maybe items from other FF's can be introduced in a different way. Such as veteran rewards like Cloud's AC gear or even via the Golden Saucer as MGP rewards.
