I just hope the primal token system isn't like how ifrit and mog wer like in 1.0 random drop and only one person gets it can't remember if in Garuda every one got one.

Considering I averaged 1 piece of gear every 2 months in Final Coil (even after clearing T13) I'm glad they're realizing that plenty of raiders are being screwed over by a general lockout. The only thing is, if the Savage version of Alexander is anything like Savage T7 it's going to make replaying it pretty rough even for some of the most focused groups where the simplest mistake will lead to a wipe almost instantly. Oh well, it's the thought that counts more than anything and I welcome any chance I can get to break my previous horrible drop luck.
All the new loot systems will be disabled in DF. You'll only be able to do Lootmaster in a premade, and if you don't like that system then you can avoid it entirely.
Most farming parties will probably use Greed Only, both to increase their own chances of getting something and to prevent the trust issues that would prevent someone from joining a Lootmaster party.
The real problem here is the gil-bidding system, since that hugely favours the rich players. But I suppose SE has to put their gilsinks in somewhere...
Well actually that gil bidding system could work incredibly well if they design it so the winning bid has that gil split between the players that didn't win the item. It would make for a fairly nice consolation prize for anyone that didn't win...All the new loot systems will be disabled in DF. But also on the flip side, it would make players more likely to roll on things that they neither need nor want, in an attempt for the gil itself. Not gonna lie, I would.
Nah, Yoshida said yesterday that everyone in the group would get one and you would probably need something like 10 to exchange for the item you want.
Just to clarify, Alexander normal mode will have no weekly loot lockout while hard mode WILL contain a lockout.
OMFG. they are finally doing something about weekly locked RNG loot mess. i cannot believe it. our prays have been heared![]()
this can only be better than current system.
sad to see : new hardmode raid and weekly stones will come even later. 4 weeks after 23th june. so plenty of time to level DRK i guess![]()
Lootmaster is a bad idea because if you ever played WoW you know you saw all day shouts about people ninjaing gear or mounts with lootmaster.
In FFXIV someone is going to set up a party in PF pick 2 items or whatever but it also drops a rare 1% mount. The guy is going to set lootmaster and say it is so he can give people the drops they picked. But when the mount drops he is just going to take it for himself.
