For you. I have plenty of stuff left to do, and I likely won't finish everything I want to do before Heavensward.
Just because the ONLY thing you seem to be interested in is your weekly cap doesn't mean everyone is.

Actually it's not the only thing, there's just not much else to do once you've done the rest, which a good portion of the playerbase have done, which again, is why people only log on for tomes/other weekly stuff and then log off until Tuesday.

Just because you've completed all the content in the game you're interested in, doesn't mean you've completed every thing in the game. There's probably a handful of people at best who have completed absolutely everything. If we go by XIVPads since there's no better statisitics available publicly to players, I'm ranked 120 in the achievements out of about 35,000 characters added to that website, that puts me in a very top percentile of players & I still have a tonne of stuff to do.
So you have completed everything there is to do in the game? Wow I guess I must be slow since I still have stuff to do. Why would some people pay to only play a game one day a week and then complain about it?
Completing the content =/= farming everything there is to farm in the game.
I noticed the only people not being bored to death by FFXIV are the ones who are content to repeat ad vitam eternam a tiny scrap of content in order to farm countless items (the funniest thing is most of these items become obsolete after one patch).

Because they're hoping it'll change for the better and not be a stale bag of chips, which is what XIV already is, after over a year of the same content every single update.
Also fun fact, you don't need to be paying to post on the forums, so don't assume everyone who posts is paying.
>_> I've also noticed the people who aren't bored or claim they have "tons of stuff to do", with how painfully easy XIV is, sound like they're either new or those same people who cause unneeded frustration because they won't listen and just cause wipe after wipe after wipe, I'm looking at you people on steps. lol Seeing as how people who do pay attention/play a game normally, have finished most of the content and got bored and then you call out the people who have "tons to do", they pull the "theres tons of achievements to get! You're not done!" Achievements =/= content. They do nothing for you. Pretty much all of them give nothing.Completing the content =/= farming everything there is to farm in the game.

"But I have jobs to get to 50!" Ok? It takes a whole ~3 days to get a job to 50, a week if you only play 5 hours a day.

I know but you have to pay in order to long in to do the weekly and then log back out , which is what the poster said. Everyone has different playing styles. Some people are not bored, still have a lot to do, and enjoy the social aspect. I understand wanted to see different things added to the game. Everyone does. People can complain about being bored and not interested. I just don't understand why pay for something you don't like/bored with. No one forces them to pay every month.

Wait what? I have way more to do than just cap tomes.. I have my relics to do (SCH is on Zodiac part - WHM is on Novus part). Also have to get my crafters and gatherers to Lvl 50 plus other things. If capping is all that interest you, that's good for you but don't assume that everyone else does.
I actually disliked XI a lot but I don't assume everyone else does.
