Square Enix are clearly trying to get players more into PvP with the new gears and mount incentives, which is a really good thing! The only problem is that they have a very flawed queueing system. The PvP in this game is very fun and there are many PvP fans but we just cant get into the duty as frequently as we'd desire and i am sure this can be fixed.
Fix the matchmaking for both Wolves Den and FL, make more maps, make PvP a bigger aspect of this game because its just so good we want it Square Enix!!
E.G the only reason i still play is bcos of PvP even though its sooo flawed atm i just have hope that with the release of HeavensWard patches will be made to make the PvP system running smoothly with fast pops and more content... ahh i wish.

I agree! The advice I got as a healer for PvP was this: "Just basically run around like a chicken with its head cut off and try not to die."

I really want some of the gear from PvP too because it is the coolest looking gear in the game in my opinion, but I have no interest in PvP as it is right now.

I just went through this today... I'd forgotten about it and I wanted to party up and PvP with an FC mate, but nope, we are both in different grand companies so we couldn't. A pretty irritating restriction that doesn't help make the queues for PvP any less worse since it does the opposite of supporting PvP with your friends and FC.

Unfortunately it's just designed so horribly that very few people want to do it. As mentioned previously, splitting it by GC means that you can't play with friends. Even worse, with the exception of the Wolves Den, the PvP modes are just PvE with other players periodically poking at you. I don't do PvP to kill nodes, I do PvP to kill PLAYERS, so that instantly and completely turns me off from it.

If they wanted to actually bother fixing it, it wouldn't take much. Remove the GC restrictions. Remove the node/tower NPC BS. Capture should play like Arathi Basin. Slaughter should play like TDM. Maybe add CTF. PvP is now 200% better.

But it won't happen.

Edit: Oh, and PvP level? It's one level. Not three. Seriously, that's beyond stupid.

The GC Restriction is one of my favorite parts, you keep worrying about teaming up with your friends as opposed to queueing up at the same time and hope you end up locked in battle with each other fighting for your respective GC. I'm a proud Immortal Flames and I have a blast trying to take out my friends in PvP, if you let just anyone in there then there is no teams also the amount of pre-mades rolling everyone would skyrocket and you'd quit after losing 50 in a row because you single queue.
