Heavensward. Something is missing?

Am I the only one who thinks Heavenward is missing some big reveal?
It feels like 2.0 all over again only with Dragons.

Don't get me wrong. I'm excited to continue the Story and try the new Jobs and Areas.

But coming from FFXI I miss some big world Battle Content like Besieged or Campaign where every Player on the Server work together for a common Goal. Something that makes this Expansion special and not some Big Patch with new Dungeons, new Tomestones and new Primalfights (aka Dragonlords)

Besieged from ffxi would just become a big FATE system and you and everyone else would be like piss about it. No matter how hard they try they not going to give you that FFXI Feel. Just have to enjoy on what we do have and hope they add bigger scale stuff later on. Maybe when ps3 support is cut they can start doing that.

Of course we're missing some big reveal, if it wasn't clear by now, they love to introduce 1 or 2 new things at every PR event and spend the rest of the time discussing things they've already announced! Maybe next event?

But what about their big reveals in this letter about high level FATEs and high level guildleves, and tomestones with partially new names? I can barely contain my excitement!

Honestly, I'm not expecting any big reveals from now until release.

1) They won't reveal everything at 1 live letter, they will tease us until we are like a month away ( or perhaps at E3 2015, drop the bomb then).

2) I suspect there will be some sort of content revolved around the 4 houses of Ishgard ( maybe something like Conquest in FFXI or something else)
3) They didn't go into full detail on what the FC airship content will have, so for all we know, there could be quite of few big reveals there.

I believe that every important part of Heavensward was already revealed and the flying and company airships are both huge thing if they did it right, also the two types of alexander to let casuals experience the story is a nice thing. I didn't expect many groundbreaking new mechanics in content so that's probably why I am not disappointed, all I really wanted was token system, bigger maps and flying.

It's an expansion. Not a 1.0 -> 2.0 remake.

The game will likely be 2.0 again but in a different environment with a couple more features here and there. Get used to it as all further expansions will likely be the same.

I don't want an overhaul of the Game like 2.0. I want something big like every FFXI Expansion brought.

Dragons could Attack Ishgard to get Nidhogs Eye back which gives us as long as it lies in Ishard nice little bonuses.
When we loose the Attack the Eye is taken and we loose the bonuses. NPCs get kidnapped and we loose there Service and we have to go to the Dragon Nest and rescue them and get the Eye back

Well.... of course this is a total Besieged Ripoff but so that you get the idea what I want.
A big event everyone can participate in and help.
