Actually both are awful because the gameplay sucks.

To you, sure.
Just out of curiosity do you like playing with other people?I've lost all interest in levelling up battle classes since leves and behests were made not worth doing. I'm 1.5 ranks away from Murderous Intent on my MRD and I want the skill for my ARC but I can't even bring myself to get that SP. I tried soloing a few leves last week and it was the most awful gameplay I've done since last year. The rewards on 30 leves weren't worth the effort it took to complete the leve and the rewards on 20 leves were pathetic too.
I've no interest in grind parties so I'm done with battle classes until they implement the alternative levelling methods that Yoshi P talked about once. I will probably go ahead and get those 1.5 ranks but after that I'm done.
I am still trying to wrap my head around the MMOSoloist and the point of it-
Perhaps you like to raid in groups or whatever. I am just trying to understand.
Dude, not having a r50 doesn't invalidate a his point
I've been playing since release and don't have any class past the mid 20's. The reason for that...I don't like grinding and found that to be the worst part of FFXI, the fact that to do anything in that game took a party todo was one of the major factors in my eventual quitting.
Now I'm not saying that I don't like partying, what I want is "options". I actually like collecting bear asses, I feel like I'm doing it for a reason when I've been specifically asked by a npc to do it. When I'm just grinding the same mob over and over just for a number to slowly tick over I just feel like I'm a frustrated park ranger with the ul'dah department of the interior culling the local marmot population because they've grown past a sustainable size( or a budding serial killer practicing on animals before I graduate to people).
Grinding is just that, grinding... Eventually it just gets old and I want to do something else.

Actually it should. During this whole time the game has been out, there has been multiple ways to rank up. I won't go through all the ways to rank up but one.Dude, not having a r50 doesn't invalidate a his point

When leves were broken, where were you ranking up? Too lazy? Couldn't get off the forums to actually put some game time into a game you actually paid for.
If the people on here complaining with no 50's actually go and play the game for its positives and not its negatives, you might actually get somewhere. SE is not gonna hand you 50's on a silver platter even tho they did already and you just missed out.

The game has been unplayable garbage for most of the past year, and this is from someone who actually likes it.Actually it should. During this whole time the game has been out, there has been multiple ways to rank up. I won't go through all the ways to rank up but one.

I wasn't lazy, I just don't care how fast I get to the lvl cap. The whole point of mmoRPGs ( the rpg bit is the important part) is the adventure, hell, I didn't get my first character to lvl cap in WoW until cata. Because I spent my time doing quests, partying with guildmates to kill new and interring critters, and exploring the world. You know, playing a RPG.
It's not a race to the cap. The faster you get there doesn't give you any bonuses, having multiple lvl capped classes/chars doesn't confer any bonuses(armory system withstanding), all it really shows is how much of your time you've wasted not actually enjoying what the game has to offer.
Lvling up should be a means to an end, not an end initself.
lol Stopped reading after unplayable garbage, you my good sir, just need to find another outlet for your time.
Personally I dont think you had any friends to explore ezorea with, since it was absolute garbage.
The rank comment was not toward you. I would say something along the lines of find something else to play, for you......
How about Hello Kitty: Islands of Adventure?

I have to agree. I haven't gotten any war or magic job to 50 simply because there has been no impetus to do so.The game has been unplayable garbage for most of the past year, and this is from someone who actually likes it.
