When can we invite players to our personal Inn Rooms?

Why can't I invite grouped players into my Personal Inn Room? This would be an awfully nice feature to have especially in a game like Final Fantasy.

Not exactly what you're asking for, but but there's already an option in game. If you're part of a free company that has a house, you'll be able to purchase a personal room. Then you can decorate it however you see fit, and have friends over too.

On a similar note... Waking Sands/Rising Stones used to be 'public' places; as I did my quests there I could see other players there to hand in their quests, no matter how far ahead or behind they were. Then they changed that -- whether it was due to performance issues or whether it was to enhance the 'YOU are the hero' feeling I don't know. But it bugs me that I can see my party members' hp in the party list yet not see them in there.

I wish they'd at least allow party members to be on the same 'layer' of such places =/

I think what was going on there was that those are "instances", and as instances, they are limited. If all instances are taken, then players will be sent into already occupied ones, and that's when you see other players in Waking Sands etc. Now many less players are on those quests, so there are more free instances at all times, and we'll likely always be alone in them. In the past, everyone was doing those MSQs, so you'd often end up sharing the instance with others.

It's a real shame. I'd like to see my friends in my same instance too.

Probably because it's something you can't do. People don't like being told they can't do things, so they complain about it.
