Housing on Balmung

The new FC crafting for airships requires an FC house to be done in. On servers such as Balmung, there's likely a few FC's that can't have plots and will be cut out of this aspect of the game, so maybe they will in fact add new wards to compensate.

Well, read their statements between the lines. They don't rule out adding more wards necessarily. But they've made it pretty clear it won't be a priority, and so any additions will likely be so few as to hardly matter on large servers like Balmung. My FC, fortunately, has a house. Sucks for those that don't, though.

It's because there is space....on other servers. It's a completely crap situation.

Yeah... I am not sure why they think having the same number of wards on each server is such a prized ideal. But for some reason big servers can't have more wards than tiny ones.

Many people share your problem on many servers for many months already. Welcome to our team.
Unfortunately this won't get much better untill SE decides to invest into server infrastructure. Many problems like armoire, inventory space, furnishing limits etc., are caused by this. Lets hope SE will one day realize that the game can't grow well without enough data space and everyone will have a house.
