Impressive! Yeah, after a few mansions and houses spread across my alts and sitting on a pile of gil I kinda reached the point that others have mentioned already where you feel like there really isn't much to buy and gil is far too easy to make. Kudos to you though!

Man, I wish my bank looked like this! -looks at her paltry 1.5 mil on her retainer and sobs quietly- Good job, Xiao, I certainly envy you, in the most respectful ways of course

That all since launch, basically. Granted, all my crafters/gatherers max out at i50-something, because I refuse to do that soulless grind that is getting them any further.

That's your problem.. You're making money the same way you did when you had no money.. You're not reinvesting to make more money.

I think throughout all my gameplay so far, I've always been able to spend 10-15% of what I have each day.. when I had less money, I would sometimes invest 95% of them and just walk around with 20k gil..

I'm sure for OP that'd be rather difficult to spend 200million gil each day as an investment.. But it's certainly possible to spend upwards of 5, 10, even 15 million gil. You spend it, and you make it back and then some.

That way, your bankroll grows exponentially, where as, using your methods, it'll always be linear. You make 200k a day, 200k next day. Even if you have 200m in your hands, you'll still be only making 200k a day. Nothing wrong with that, but if you're not willing to spend any money, you're bound by time and you only have so much of that.

If you've been around since launch, and the OP also.. you may actually have similar number of hours logged on the game Making gil's not about brute force labor, it's all about efficiency. Especially true in this game, it's the little things that make money, not the mindless grind.

Also, notice the Ullikummi lucis on OP's screenshot That's a moneymaking saw.

TBH the steps I have taken are nothing special and already being done by players in the game. Whether its crafting, desynthesis or SB. A tip would be doing this with the by player for player approach. Meaning anticipating what your buyers want and be there ready when they want it. 2nd would be consistency. Theres nothing fancy about doing something non stop for a period more than 1 year except flagging yourself as an hardcore maniac. But well, this is final fantasy, a genre we did grew up with. Manage the game fatigue well by taking a break at time helps. When you do something for 2,000 hours consistently, you will just get good at it.

The above cash flow approach is true. In stead of buying only when needed, I would usually forecast what I need and buy in bulk and reinvest. Sometime I use 80% of a day's income to buy materials, sometime I emptied out 3 days income to buy materials. There are time with good investment where you made good margin, and there are time sometimes you find mb price and RNG just kicks you back to square 1, and sometime you lose millions of gils due to bad forecast, RNGesus, or the worst case scenario, forgot to put a 0 in an expensive item (Lol..) After all these facepalm experience you will know what are the more effective ways to secure your margin, what are the good time to enter a market and when its time to exit.

Considering how stupidly people undercut the market in this game, I believe this is possible.

That is sometime called market board pvp. Its more deadlier than the players wolfden pvp. Theres the "tanker" who claims he/she can tank everything. And then we have the dpser who likes to cut everything. Then we have the supplier (healer) to provide mats to the market and heal the economy.
