    Summoner question! Summon |||

    Hello there :3
    Quick question for my fellow smmoners out there xD so i know u use summon 1 for helping the tanks and summon 2 is for u if u go solo.. But what about summon 3?

    Should i use it in dungeons? And do summoners have a specific rotation? Or u just throw some attacks and thats it? xD i play as a scholar most of the time so i don't know much about summoners!

    I am not sure what you mean by helping the tanks for Garuda. But you are a DPS class, your summon depends on what personally gives you the highest DPS in any given fight.

    For you I recommend just use Garuda as you explore the class.

    Titan is only for SOME soloing - I never really use him unless we are doing something wacky and killing primals without any tanks etc etc.

    This will help you towards the correct path in terms of rotation:

    Thank you so much for the help!! I'm still at level 45 though :3 welp i think summon 3 is the best for dungeons since its an attacker type pet. But sometimes tanks request summon 1 in low level dungeons. So should use summon 3 (Ifrit) in high level dungeons?

    You have to keep in mind that: summon I = ranged dps (caster type), summon II = tank, summon III = melee dps - after 50 the best to use is summon I, because having Garuda-egi on obey maximizes your dmg as summoner, you chose when she uses specific spells to help you out AND she dies less then ifrit-egi who takes the blasts from boss because being a melee dps.

    As sayafrost mention, keep Garuda on Obey, not Sic. You will need to manually use her skills, but two points here on why Obey is better.

    1) Garuda has a knock back skill that can anger most people due to knocking back the mob that is currently being tanked (usually doesn't work on bosses though.)
    2) Garuda's final skill will double the time on your currently applied dots to the mob. If she is in Sic mode (ie she casts her spells whenever they are available) then she will use it as soon as possible. Meaning she casts it near the start of the fight where you probably have 1 maybe 2 dots up and it pretty much wastes her skill. Being on Obey, dot up the mob, then use her skill to double the dot timers.

    I d say only keep garuda when Contagion & raging strike is up, otherwise, use Ifrit (on obey). Titan is a good tank and have good aggro if you use rouse & spur on it , keep it alive is tough though

    For more that I try it.... I still unable to find any good thing in poor Ifrit-kun....

    Reason? Garuda can extend your poisons, that's all you need to know, rest is meaningless. (Have her in obey, so you can choose the best moments for doing so)
    Time ago I used to think that Ifrit was better for one target because skill damage + auto attack.... But if you're tempted to think so, forget it, just test the following, put in your hotbar the command 'obey' alone. Select an enemy with ifrit, press Obey, let him kill it. Then try with garuda...

    You'll notice that Garuda's skill is more or less same damage than IFrit's skill + auto attack. So basically in that matter they deal same damage....

    PS: Titan is for the lulzs... Or, rather... TOPAZ CARBUNCLE IS!
