So you think meterai can be added to it if you have the required crafting class ranked up?

I hope that the U/U gear from dungeons is able to accept materia. I may be biased though as I have all the pertinent crafting classes to 50.

Which I think is totally acceptable, I more so trying to fish a response from SE concerning untradeable gear.
