DRAGON MOUNTS

Hey Yoshi-P!

I have a great idea for you. You and your team should think about installing dragon mounts and creating a back story dealing with becoming a dragon rider. The story should have something to do with Ishgard of course. It would also create another form of travel that I'm sure players would love. You could also make it set to a limit as how many time you could fly just like with anima. Please give some thought !!!

The only problem i have with it is the idea of lots of dragons cluttering the sky. I can imagine take off being a cutscene and then you gain control in an instanced area depicting you above the clouds looking down at the ground below. I'll admit it would be nice to have the freedom to roam the skies and find things up there that arent just the destination your heading to. Like sky pirates you can raid or hidden floaty sky islands etc

If they did a special battlefield like they are talking about with chocobo mounted combat with dragon aerial mounted combat... that would be epic =Q___

Don't forget, the Ishgard knights would kill you on first sight with a dragon pet ^^

Well they could make a story around that. I mean who wouldn't want to rider a dragon though of there own. The war could be about some big ass mother dragon that you have to kill in order to obtain control of one. Just putting some ideas out there you know. Either way i haven't seen any in this game, which is kind of a bummer considering the fact that most Final Fantasy have a lot of Dragons in them you know.

frying mounts ruins the feel of the scale of the world. when you on the ground the world seems large but if you are high above and look down it would ruin the way you see the world.

NO IT DOESN'T...Flying mounts make it feel more massive and saying that if you look from up on high it would ruin the way you see the world is like saying airships will ruin they way u see the world >.> LAME.. Anyway great post Chrys! Please add this SE!

you wont see the world from an airship, and my reasoning comes from the developers from guild wars 2 so go tell them how you can make a better game.

so let me explain this to you: if you were trapped in a cube 100 feet each way it would seem like a big empty space. now take the same cube and look at it from 1000 feet up in the air.

are you trying to tel me it would look bigger from the sky
