Like when someone somehow happens to d/c after loot drops and gets rolled on in WoD... depending on the party's ability to continue without them, I've talked the party into not kicking those people just so we could enjoy the awkwardness when they show back up 10-15 min later.
There really needs to be a penalty (lets say 30m) for being kicked for this reason. I'd say a 3 strike rule
