Exactly, so why not just kick them when they ask and get it over with sooner. People think that they're upholding some kind of principal or punishing people by not kicking them but really you're just giving them the negative attention they long for and wasting your own time. It's rare that I've had someone purposely go afk or troll or w/e to force people's hand in vote kicking them (maybe I'm lucky?). It's also rare that I've been asked to vote kick someone (also lucky?). I'm not enforcing a rule or forcing anyone to do anything. I'm not stopping them from leaving. Why should I waste my vote kick on them? The responsibility is on that person if they want to leave, not anyone else.
