Help! Racial Identity Issues~

I know I can't be the only one with this problem and I'm hoping the community can help me! At the launch of 1.0, I played a Miqote as seen here:


Once Fantasia was introduced, I tried Lalafell and fell completely in love! As seen here:

But over time, I started to miss my Miqote and switched back. I felt like playing anything other than my 1.0 original wasn't really being "me".

So now I am feeling myself being drawn back to being a Lalafell again but afraid that I will want to switch back to my Miqote eventually and quite frankly, this will start getting expensive!!

Any advice will be greatly appreciated!! ^_^

Write down the pros and cons of each race, doesn't matter what they are i..e love the tail (miqote) hate being small (Lalafell) then go with the one with the most pros or just have 2 characters that you flip between as and when in the mood for each. You never know you may like the new race better than both, I think with heavensward we get a free fantaisia anyway so thats one less to buy.

I felt the same about switching from Midlander to Roe.... Thought I'd "not feel like myself" and that the connection to my char will be lost. Especially cause my Midlander basically looks like my real self. Much, much happier now and wouldn't change Roe for anything :3 (except maybe if they introduced a Qu-like race <3 ).

As for your torubles, I'd say go with the gut feeling. Which of the two makes you smile? As which race do you like roleplaying (not to be taken literally) and try to identify whether it's just nostalgia or guilt that you feel.

Go with the lala master race. Everything you do seems a little bit more epic when your 2 feet and 10 inches tall.

I flip flop. My 1.0 char is a Lala and when I feel the urge to be cute, I play her. My 2.0 alpha character was Mi'quote and I recreated her at launch... and played her as my main because she was on the server where all my friends ended up.
