If you want to know the elemental triangles, they are (in order of what is stronger), Fire > Ice > Wind > Fire, and Thunder > Water > Earth > Thunder. If you can figure out what element an enemy is aligned with nukes should do some extra damage and rarely get resisted. Elementals seem a lot more resistant to the element that they beat more than anything else. There's no Null or Absorb enemies in the game so far. I take it you haven't played FF11, but Null/Absorb enemies were usually NMs and storyline bosses. Bombs in FF11 were weak to Fire, so that's where that started.

And I would looove to know when I get partial resists too ><

Chat (battle) log tells you this, but an on-screen popup display would be cool.

Err... right. I've played this game and FF11 without battle damage in the log because its a whole lot of spam that flows through the log that way and forgot that it did haha.

Still, like you said, a popup for anything that shows up in the chat log would be nice since there's actually a good deal of information you can get just by watching your character/the enemies in battle, and it would be great to be able to stay focused on the action instead of the log.

Yeah I didn't play much FFXI, only got to Jeuno ;P So, thank you for that. I should've guessed they got all that from FFXI too.

And thanks for the elemental triangles.
