Yoshi P, One More Player-Pole Please

Dear Mr. Yoshida,

I am aware that you and the development team are hard at work to give us quality content and that your translation team is burning through thousands of forum posts. I enjoy what you have done with the game so far and have high hopes for the future... but; your long days at the office and sleepless nights won't count for shit if your fans don't like the product you give them.

After patch 1.19 is implemented; I suggest to you that you give us another player poll. I was one of the many that chose the option to have a complete re-makeover of the game and I stand by that decision. FFXIV is finally starting to feel like a game, we're finally getting out of Beta and it has so much more potential!

The reason why I want another poll is simple: I'm sick of everyone's complaining. If you gave us another poll, it would give the people a chance to think. In a sense; they would open their ears and shut their mouths. I'll even give you a couple idea's.

1. When NQ and HQ items are condensed, would you like:
a) HQ +1 = HQ +2 & HQ +3 = HQ +2
b) All HQ itmes = HQ +3 stats
c) Only HQ +2 & +3 stay as HQ & HQ +1 turns into NQ

2. Out of all hovering combat text; only evade is shown, would you like:
a) Parry, Block & Counter Attack to be shown also
b) Only MRD can Parry / GLA can Block / PGL can Evade
c) All classes can
d) Each be given a unique animation

These are poor examples but I think it bears weight, I just feel like we; the fans, need to be included more in the development process. Who are you making this game for if not the fans? I think it will bring people together again like the first two polls did and of course; you cannot make everyone happy but as a wise man once said to me:

"You can pave the roads in gold and people will say "Why didn't you pave it in platinum?" So you scrape off the gold and repave the roads in platinum and a multitude more will come and say "I liked it better in gold."

Just food for thought.

Good lord...yet another topic asking for player poll...we already got enough from this playerbase's "game producing knowledge".

Hopefully they will not do this mistake again. Specially since this is the official forum role now...they did polls because there weren't official forums by then so now that we have the fowum the polls are meaningless.

i dont like polls .. because can be cheated easily and what about people who have no idea about it.
